Grove Street Plaza

Grove Street Plaza, adjacent to the Grove Street PATH Station hast has been transformed into a new center for the cultural and political life of Downtown Jersey City in Hudson county. Grove Street Plaza, also known as the Fitzgerald-Holota Memorial Park, regularly features live music, entertainment and local vendors.

Prior to its restoration, the plaza was only the PATH station entrance.The redevelopment of Grove Street Plaza provides a much needed civic space for public gatherings, farmers markets, local art markets, cultural festivals and, of course, access for the 400,000 monthly commuters utilizing the PATH system located beneath the plaza.
